With offices nationwide this builder has been involved in some of the country’s landmark projects while they continue to be at the forefront of the Australian building industry with several large scale projects in construction at the moment. Based within close proximity this builder is made up of a team of career professionals who have been involved in complex projects all over the country with excellent relationships throughout the industry. With the workload building up for next year they now require a Senior Site Manager to join the team with a $60M apartment project first up. The person we are looking for will have to join a team of Senior professionals with a similar mindset into how projects are driven. You will come from a well respected Tier 1 contractor with project experience up to the value of $150M. The successful candidate will supervise and co ordinate all trades and on site activities. You be working closely with your Project Manager regarding programming, progress and on site issues and requirements. You will attend regular site meetings and liaise directly with the client, architects and consultants. Overall you will ensure that the project is delivered on time, on budget and complies with the set specifications of the project. With plenty of work coming forward they are now looking to take someone with exceptional communication skills, and indepth knowledge of OH&S and Industrial Relations and the ability to drive and motivate the site team. Salary is dependent on the right candidate and experience but will be in the region of $180 – 200K per annum. You must have experience working as the sole CA on commercial projects up to a minimum value of $10m on your own with no support. In this role you will be required to manage projects of similar size on your own, while always having the support of the senior management.
