About the role
Reporting into the Quality Assurance Manager we are currently looking for a tenacious and strategy focused Environmental Advisor to join our growing team. In this newly created role, you will ensure that GrainCorp complies with relevant legislation and regulations and be able to prepare and develop reports. With 281 sites throughout QLD, NSW and VIC, you will identify environmental initiatives to improve our performance and lift our credentials. Using your extensive knowledge you will research environmental policy and provide advice, guidance and recommendations to key stakeholders along with developing and rolling out an Environmental Management System.
About you
With an understanding of Australian federal and state environmental legislation you have experience in developing and implementing policies, procedures and plans. Tertiary qualified in Environmental Science or similar, you have excellent communications skills and understand systems design and associated controls. With good analytical skills, you will be able to identify improvements and communicate these effectively across the business. The ideal person will be enthusiastic and bring a high level of energy to an organisation which is undergoing periods of exciting and forward thinking change.
