Role Purpose
Working for the PMO but with day-to-day operational functions for the Access Network delivery stream, this role will:
Be a programme management SME to the Access Network delivery stream, advising on, and assisting with, management of the stream programme of work as a representative of the PMO;
represent the Access Network delivery programme at cross business unit performance/process meetings;
establish and maintain effective working relationships with peer groups and key stakeholders to have input into the key programme deliverables;
manage programme activities across the Access Network delivery stream and articulate these back into the business;
manage regular programme reporting from the Access Network delivery into the Programme Office;
represent the Access Network delivery programme in PMO whole-of-programme discussions around programme and project good practices, consistency and standardisation, integration, quality and risk management; and contribute to programme continuous improvement initiatives, at whole-of-programme and Access Network delivery levels.
Key Accountabilities
Act as a subject matter expert in project management good practices and provide coaching as appropriate;
assist with the development and management of the Access Network delivery programme, including scope, schedule & cost, tracking and reporting frameworks, risks and issues, change management, comms and resourcing;
lead cross-functional and/or virtual teams to design, develop and deploy programs of work including high level analysis to deliver business requirements maintaining a company-wide view;
contribute to the effectiveness of the Access Network delivery team environment through productive personal behaviour;
maintain a good relationship with Access Network delivery and PMO to ensure effective application of PMO standards into the Access Network delivery group and communicate delivery stream requirements and outputs into the PMO;
contribute to the preparation of presentation packs to stakeholders;
identify continuous improvement opportunities for NBN Co projects and Access Network delivery practices; and provide leadership and strong teaming support to the Access Network delivery management team and contribute to the development and implementation of the Access Network delivery's strategic and business plans.
Capabilities / Skills
