We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Project Manager to oversee an $80m Transport & Main Roads construction project in Central Queensland. This position may be of particular interest to candidates currently experiencing a slow market in NSW and Victoria, with Queensland's Central Queensland region booming off the back of the massive resource sector. If you're coming from interstate, you would be relocated to Brisbane and provided initial accommodation while you get settled. You would operate on a fly in/fly out roster (from Brisbane) of 10 days on/4 days off. Accommodation (near the site) and meals will be supplied while on roster and you would receive a site allowance of $32,500. Alternatively, if FIFO doesn't suit you, you could be relocated to Mackay and work on a drive in/drive out roster with accommodation and meals supplied on site while on roster. Applicants must have previous experience working across medium to large infrastructure projects, including bulk earthworks, pavements, highway construction projects and/or Mining Infrastructure projects. Candidates with road construction or in-situ stabilisation experience, as well as experience working for similar medium to large civil contractors in Australia will be highly regarded. The Senior Project Manager will play a key role in the growth and expansion of the region and will be responsible for mentoring and developing the next generation of leaders. Ideally the Senior Project Manager's role will develop into a Construction Manager position within the business as the company continues to expand. This position provided excellent job security and stability as this region has a number of large infrastructure projects on the horizon.
