We are currently partnered with a large scale international oil and gas operator. Currently, they are leading the way with upstream activities in CSG to LNG production here in Queensland. They are a globally recognised natural resource exploration and production company offering exciting career opportunities for experts in the industry. We are seeking an expert Principal Project Engineer to scope requirements and oversee procurement / execution of gas / water trunk pipelines for a multibillion dollar project in Queensland's CSG to LNG market. Working for the client, you will be responsible for ensuring open lines of communication between the client's team and the EPCM contractor to enable the project to progress effectively. Acting as the lead Project Engineering interface, you will co-ordinate all procurement, construction and commissioning activities relating to gas and water pipelines, utilising your previous project experience to ensure successful project execution and timely delivery.
The successful applicant will be a tertiary qualified Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in project engineering. Extensive exposure and a thorough understanding of AS2885 standards along with a formidable background within piping will be required to meet the client's requirements for the role.
