We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor to join our project team working on a significant Infrastructure project in WA.
The Project
The Great Eastern Highway Upgrade Project involves the upgrade to six lanes of 4.1 kilometres of Great Eastern Highway between Kooyong Road (near Graham Farmer Freeway) and Tonkin Highway with a central median, on-road cycle facilities and a continuous pedestrian path. All major intersections will include bus priority and dedicated turning movements.
The Project involves major diversion of existing and installation of new Utility Services, traffic management and impacts on local businesses and residents.
The Role
The City East Alliance team is currently seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join them at their Belmont site. You will play a key part in the management of subcontractors to deliver work in budget and on time, maintain strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders and adhere to safe work methods and risk constraints throughout all project stages.
The successful candidate will have demonstrative experience in a similar role within the construction industry with experience supervising electrical works, preferably on Western Power assets. You must obtain an Electrical Licence and be technically competent.

Prepare material take-off from drawings.
Calculate direct and indirect man-hour /costing
Analyse construction drawings and other documentation to prepare time, costs, materials and labour hours.
Calculate Plant and Equipment requirements.

As the successful candidate for this role, you will be degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or alternatively you will be mechanical trade qualified with an intermediate level of experience as a Mechanical Estimator focusing on structural, mechanical, piping or civil projects. A background in workshop estimating will also be viewed favourably. As your role will involve working closely with clients, as well as internal departments such as planning, proposals, safety, quality, projects and engineering, it is important that you demonstrate sound communication skills with an ability to liaise effectively with all levels in an organisation. You will demonstrate a high level of confidence, be procedure focused and work efficiently and in an organised manner to meet deadlines.
