Energy Resources of Australia is a publicly listed company that has mined and produced uranium oxide from its Ranger mine in the beautiful and rugged Alligator Rivers area of the Northern Territory since 1980. The open cut Ranger mine is on Aboriginal land, and is surrounded by, but separate from, the spectacular Kakadu National Park. Reporting to the Superintendent Infrastructure the primary purpose of this position is to lead the Infrastructure Maintenance Team including Grounds Maintenance technicians and Housing Specialists to safely maintain and improve the Ranger Mine grounds, housing and airport facilities. This also includes the supervision of the sites non-mineral waste management system. The successful candidate will be accountable for; Achieving planned outputs in accordance with the Infrastructure Maintenance Team plan in a safe and sustainable manner.
Continuously improving Team Performance by implementing the Team Leader / Team Member model throughout the Trainee groups.
Efficiently scheduling and managing resources to achieve maintenance targets
Mentoring and developing team members to achieve full potential
Candidates who can demonstrate the following are encouraged to apply:

The primary purpose of this role is to provide strategic sourcing support for capital projects and a wide range of other goods and services to sustain Ranger Mine Operations. You will have the opportunity to apply your considerable experience to identifying and driving the implementation of a range of performance and cost saving initiatives. A key element of your success in this role will be the ability to engage with a large number of contract partners and stakeholders to develop sustainable sourcing strategies to deliver optimal value to ERA. This role will involve delivering service in tight timeframes in a challenging and demanding environment.
The key duties of this role include: engaging with the stakeholders to scope projects, develop sourcing strategies, executing sourcing strategies that may include running tenders and/or high level negotiations and awarding contracts, measuring performance and ensuring the successful implementation and delivery of the project by the supplier. Key selection criteria include: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or Engineering;
Significant experience in sourcing for mining or heavy industry operations;
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop and lead strategic sourcing initiatives;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Proficiency in Microsoft applications and business management software such as SAP, Ellipse or similar;
