THE OPPORTUNITY As our Test Analyst you will be responsible for the software testing of our online customer portal for placing classified ads to ensure the quality of the customer portal and supporting systems maintain the required level of quality and ensure a positive user experience. You will be required to develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to support the testing of web based applications as well as application testing of support systems. The Test Analyst will work closely with our development team and the business to ensure that the testing is focused on meeting both customer and business requirements.
THE CANDIDATE Apart from strong results and process orientation, your other strengths include your ability to work independently and within a team ( especially cross-functional teams ). You’ll possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written and you’re admired for your creative problem solving skills and ‘can do’ mentality. In addition the successful candidate will bring with them: - Prior experience as a Test Analyst working highly complex technology based projects Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other I.T related field Experience with commercial testing software tools,(Atlassian Jira and Confluence highly desirable) Experience testing in client/server and web-based software Experience using Agile Methodology and Waterfall Experience with analysing requirements presented in a variety of form from functional specifications through to user stories. The Role
The Remuneration Services Team, within the Shared Services Business unit is currently offering a great opportunity for an articulate and motivated individual to take on a 12 month fixed term role as a Financial Support Officer. Based in Canberra this position will play a key role in providing support for the processing of salary sacrifice benefits.
As the Financial Support Officer you will be accountable for:
Managing and undertaking benefit system financial tasks for example:
commencement, maintenance and cessation of both vehicle and non-vehicle benefits;
exporting and uploading of data into SAP payroll and Airservices in-house Benefit Information Management System (BIMS);
preparation and payment of monthly expense invoices; and
reconciling all related variances.
Investigate, co-ordinate and implement recovery of outstanding debtor balances.
Liaising with employees and external service providers in relation to benefit processing.
The Person
To thrive in this role, you will ideally have the following qualities:
a high level of interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, with proven ability to display initiative;
demonstrated working knowledge or the ability to quickly acquire such knowledge in the use of a computerised payroll system such as SAP;
a "can do" attitude for problem solving; and
the ability to work effectively both in a team environment, and independently within given time constraints.
