Our client is responsible for government policy and legislation concerning the health and safety of employees in the Commonwealth. Our client is seeking an experienced litigator to join their in-house legal team.
This position requires the successful candidate to manage and coordinate litigation and supervise a small team of lawyers. You will need to be a strategic thinker and have proven litigation experience, either in a private or public sector context. A background in managing personal injury and insurance litigation matters will be viewed favourably.
To succeed in this role you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team. Additionally, the position requires the skill to critically analyse legal panel advice and successfully liaise with external lawyers.
The salary range for this position is $95,023 - $114,404 plus 15.4% superannuation. Benefits of public service roles include professional development opportunities and a healthy work-life balance.
