Our client is seeking an in-house lawyer with up to five years post-admission experience in the government or private sector. The role may be offered as a 12 month contract or as a permanent ongoing opportunity. Salary will be in the range of $90,000, roughly equivalent to an a Senior Legal Officer in the Australian Public Service. As this role is in a private sector organisation, superannuation of 9% will be part of the final package.
In this role you will provide legal advice to different parts of the organisation. The advice will include advice in relation to contracts and tender documentation, but may also include general commercial advice.
In addition to core legal skills, to succeed in this role you will be able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. You will also be able to demonstrate a particular talent for writing clear and timely advice. Relationships with non-lawyers are critical in our client's work environment. • Demonstrated experience in managing Domino servers and/or deploying Domino server infrastructure

Experience with SharePoint technologies, migration of Lotus Notes applications to Microsoft technologies and Java/TomCat skills are desirable.
