Their infrastructure development team is responsible for the design and construction of a range of different civil and structural projects though-out the campus. Due to a heavy project load scheduled for the next 2 years, our client requires an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team on a 12 month contract to start immediately. In this role you will be required to undertake a range of responsibilities including; design and documentation, site inspections, project management, procurement, contractor engagement and management of electrical and fire safety systems throughout the campus. Projects are typically educational facilities including classrooms, laboratories, computer facilities and offices but can also include a range of other buildings, substations and other infrastructure depending on the needs of the client. To be considered for this role you must have a degree in electrical engineering (Building Services) with a detailed knowledge of low and high voltage building projects. You will have a solid knowledge of Fire Protection Systems, good AutoCAD skills and a thorough understanding of Australian Standards. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a 12 month contract reviewed after an initial 3 month probation at a lucrative rate negotiable based on skills and experience.
