8 month contract Possible 12 month extension ASAP start This Government organisation is seeking a highly experienced IM&T Risk & Security Manager to lead a team of 3 risk and security specialists. As the IM&T Risk and Security Manager you will manage and provide consultancy services to deliver this organisation’s ICT risk management, audit and security services. This will include; undertaking security risk and threat assessments on projects and ICT services, conducting vulnerability and compliance assessments including penetration testing, managing third party security providers and providing compliance and service reporting. You will also be required to plan and deliver their Security Improvement Program and provide specialist consulting services and advice to support the development and implementation of their IM&T Strategy and strategic projects and/or programs. To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience in the implementation and management of ICT risk and information security functions in large and complex organisations. Ideally you will have demonstrated experience in risk management and information security policies and standards applicable to the Victorian Government; including Protective Security Manual, Information Security Manual, PCI DSS and ISO 27001. Proven ability to build and manage a team of risk and security specialists delivering on business goals and objectives is essential. Superior communication skills are required in order to engage effectively with senior business and technical stakeholders and provide highly influential advice in the areas of ICT risk, security and audit.
