Your purpose will be to provide provision of project management and E&I engineering technical capability to assist in achieving an effective delivery of mine gas pre-drainage capital infrastructure projects from conceptual design, execution and commissioning. This role will provide an interesting project whereby duties will include providing a functional & technical role in front-end planning, approvals, engineering, and procurement, construction and commission right through to handover of operations. You will also be responsible for the development of concept designs, design basis and scope of work documents. Provide technical capability to foster and develop E&I specific engineering deliverables. A key part of the role will be to conduct applications engineering studies to select appropriate E&I equipment. Facilitate environmental, land, legal, corporate governance and statutory compliance. You’ll also need to coordinate a multidisciplinary team to ensure development goals are reached. Ensure project costs are developed, modeled, tracked and controlled. These are Gove bauxite mine and alumina refinery, Boyne Smelters and the associated Gladstone Power Station, the Bell Bay smelter, New Zealand Aluminium Smelters and Rio Tinto Alcan's interests in the Tomago Smelter. Pacific Aluminium is seeking a manager Risk & Assurance for its newly formed Governance, Risk and Compliance ( GRC ) function (part of the GRC/Legal Team). The GRC function will be responsible for providing risk management, assurance and compliance services to the highest standard to the Pacific Aluminium Group, including headquarters, operating businesses and functional divisions. It will also provide policy development and advice in the area of GRC matters which are within its core competencies.
