Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Gardener/ Grounds Keeper who has landscape, gardening or grounds keeping experience to start immediately.
The successful applicant will need to have a current drivers licence and reliable vehicle.
Some sites require a current white card and the ability to pass an Australian police check.
The key tasks for the role include -
• The ability to maintain grounds at various sites.
• Carry out general horticultural maintenance and construction, landscape refurbishment duties, turf maintenance, renovating, tree planting and maintenance.
• Operate and maintain the following machinery would be desirable (eg hand mowers, de-thatchers, corers, chainsaws and bob-cat, ride-on mowers).
• Conduct condition audits of playgrounds, barbeques, park furniture and other assets as required.
• Ensure a high standard of safety with all work practices.
