You will gain exposure to optimising large scale surface mining across multiple pits, as well as partaking in project & design work required for the expansion. Excellent mentoring and guidance is provided from the experienced Principal and Senior Mining Engineer on site, as well as having the opportunity to rotate across different roles & teams in the department. To be successful in this role, you will need degree qualifications in Mining Engineering, combined with 1-3+ years experience in an open pit hard rock mine. Previous mine planning software and contractor management experience will be highly regarded. Salaries on offer will be in the vicinity of $110k - $130k + super, although higher salaries will be negotiated for candidates with exceptional experience.
